Knitting pattern for Swing skirt by Hanne Falkenberg
Swing skirt is a pretty, feminine wrap-around skirt in A-shape and with diagonal stripes to give it a flattering fit. The skirt is worked vertically, back and forth in garter stitch, all in one piece and only one colour at a time.

Gauge: 25 sts and 50 rows in stockinette sts on ndl 3 = 10 x 10 cm
Work with one strand throughout
Recommended needle size: Circular ndl 3 mm
Procedure: The skirt is worked vertically, back and forth in garter stitch, all in one piece and only one colour at a time. The I-cords at each end of the waistband are pulled through loops at the back side of the waistband, and then tied at the side – to desired width. Begin by working the waistband, and leave all sts on the circl ndl. Now work back and forth at right angle to the sts along the waistband, according to diagram.
